Facebook comenzó a activar en algunos sectores la opción que permite adjuntar imágenes cuando un usuario hace un comentario. Desde ahora, en el cuadro de texto para escribir un comentario, en los estados de los amigos o en cualquier información que compartan, aparece un icono de una cámara (adjuntar una Foto), el cual permite agregar una imagen.
En un principio sólo se podrán adjuntar fotos desde la web y web móvil, pero si se podrán ver desde las aplicaciones móviles. El despliegue de esta opción se está dando de manera progresiva. Según señalan medios especializados como CNET News, esta idea nació de la mano de uno de los empleados de la red social durante una hackathon -evento que reúne a programadores para solucionar problemas – y hasta hoy su idea no se había probado.
De momento, los populares archivos animados en formato .GIF no de consideraron, ya que la nueva utilidad es compatible sólo con fotografías en formatos .JPG o .PNG.
